IDENTITY VERSES
Read through each scripture below and wash your mind with the Word of God. How does God see you? Do you know who you are?
1. I am no longer an orphan or slave, but I am now a son of God and a son of light. (Jn. 2:12; Rom. 1; 8:14-16; Gal. 3:26; 4:6-7)
2. I am the righteousness of God in Christ. (Rom. 3:22; 2 Cor. 5:21)
3. I am a new creation in Christ, without spot or wrinkle, perfected for all time, blameless, holy, and above reproach. (2 Cor. 5:17; Eph. 4:24; 5:27; Col. 1:22; Heb. 10:14)
4. I am no longer a servant - I am now God’s friend. (Jn. 15:15)
5. I am a partaker of the heavenly calling. (Heb. 3:1)
6. I am a citizen of Heaven and an alien to this world. (Eph. 2:19; Phil. 3:20; 1 Pet. 2:11)
7. I have been given dominion, all power, and all authority. (Gen. 1:26; Ps. 8:6; Matt. 16:19, 28:18; Lk. 9:1; 10:19; Acts 1:8; Jm. 5:16; 2 Tim. 1:7)
8. I am seated with Christ in heavenly places, which means all things are under my feet, and I have direct access to the throne of grace with boldness. (Matt. 22:44; Eph. 2:6; 3:12; Heb. 4:14-16)
9. I have been blessed with EVERY spiritual blessing and have been given EVERYTHING I need for life and godliness. (Eph. 1:3; 2 Pet. 1:3)
10. I am an overcomer, more than a conqueror, strong in the Lord in the power of His might, and I can do all things through Jesus - which means I’m the devil’s worst nightmare. (Rom. 8:37; Eph. 6:10; Phil. 4:13; 1 Jn. 5:4; Rev. 12:11)
11. God ALWAYS causes me to triumph, no weapon formed against me will stand, and not even the gates of hell will stand against me. (Isa. 54:17; Matt. 16:18; 2 Cor. 2:14)
12. He that is in me is greater than he that is in the world; God is for me. (Rom. 8:31; 1 Jn. 4:4)
13. Nothing shall by any means hurt me, I am blessed coming in and going out, and am kept in safety wherever I go. (Deut. 28:6; Ps. 91:7,11; Mark 16:18; Luke 10:19; 1 Jn. 5:18)
14. Because of my righteousness I am as bold as a lion, I will never be shaken, my prayers are powerful and effective, I will reign in life, and I live by faith. ( Ps. 112:6; Prov. 28:1; Rom. 5:17; Heb. 10:38; Jm. 5:16)
15. I will lay hands on the sick and they WILL recover. (Mk. 16:18)
16. I am part of the true vine. (Jn. 15:1-2)
17. I am filled with the divine nature of Christ. (2 Pet. 1:4)
18. I have been set free from the law of sin and death and I am free from sin. I am now a slave to righteousness and enslaved to God. (Rom. 6:18, 22; 8:2)
19. I am an heir of God the Father and joint heir with Christ. ( Rom. 8:17; Gal. 4:7) 20. I am my Beloved’s bride. (Song. 2:16; 6:3; 7:10; Eph. 5:22-33; Rev. 19:7)
21. I have been bought with a price, I am not my own, I have been redeemed by the Lord, and saved by grace. (Ps. 107:2; 1 Cor. 6:20; Gal. 3:13; Eph. 2:8; Rev. 5:9)
22. I am in Christ and I am alive in Christ Jesus, and I am born again. (Jn. 3:3-6; Eph. 2:5)
23. I am hidden with Christ in God and I dwell in the shadow of His wings. (Ps. 91; Col. 3:3)
24. I am an imitator of Jesus and I have the mind of Christ. (1 Cor. 2:16; Eph. 5:1)
25. I am healed by His stripes. (1 Pet. 2:24)
26. I am forgiven, I am justified, I am delivered from the dominion of darkness. (Rom. 5:1; 1 Cor. 6:17; Col. 1:13-14)
27. I am loved by God with the same love that He loves Jesus with. (Jn. 17:23)
28. I am free from condemnation and cannot be separated from the love of God. (Jn. 17:23; Rom. 8:1-2, 38-39)
29. I am the aroma of Jesus to God. (2 Cor. 2:14-15)
30. I am a temple of the Holy Spirit, I am a member of Christ’s body, and I am a living stone being built up in Christ as a spiritual house. (1 Cor. 3:16; 6:19; 12:27; 1 Pet. 2:5)
31. I am reconciled to God; I am an ambassador of reconciliation. (2 Cor. 5:18-19)
32. I am the salt of the earth and the light of the world. (Matt. 5:13-14)
33. I am chosen by God. I am holy, a royal priesthood, God’s special possession, and am dearly loved. (Col. 3:12; 1 Pet. 2:9)
34. I am God’s workmanship and created for good works. (Eph. 2:10)
35. I am a laborer together with God. (1 Cor. 3:9)
36. I have been established, anointed, and sealed by God. (2 Cor. 1:21-22)
37. I have not been given a spirit of fear but of power, love, and a sound mind. (2 Tim. 1:7)
38. I am not moved by what I see and feel; I am only moved by the Word of God. (2 Cor. 4:18)
