COM CHurch KIDS - CULTIVATE

COM KIDS MEET EVERY SUNDAY MORNING DURING OUR CHURCH GATHERING

Cultivate means: to prepare to promote or improve the growth of, to develop or improve by education to promote the growth or development of.

All CULTIVATE workers are volunteers and also members of Com Church. All volunteers and workers have a DBS check.

  • Mission Statement: To nurture the children of COM Church as they GROW in the fullness of the knowledge of Christ and grow up into the people God wants them to be.

    That they will understand the love of the Father and the truth of His Word, the commission and closeness of Christ, and the gifts and the fruit of the Spirit. Help them GROW: Keeping these as the four main purposes of everything we do.

    G – Gain understanding (Discipleship)

    R – Report the good news (Evangelism)

    O – Offer help to others (Ministry/Serving)

    W – Worship God (Worship)

  • There are several different age groups in our CULTIVATE Junior Church, they are organised into school year groups: –

    Creche: Babies – 3 1/2 years

    Sunbeams: 3 1/2 years – Reception

    Junior Church: School Yr 1 – Yr 2; School Yr 3 – Yr 4; School Yr 5 – Yr 6.

    This is a time for the children of the Church to get Biblical teaching in a fun, age-appropriate way. Through fun learning and activities, we want to see the children of the Church today to grow into the adults of the Church of tomorrow.

    Cultivate: Junior Church is held on a Sunday morning.

YOUTH - NEW WAVE

WElcome to New Wave. We are the Youth of COM Church. We Run a dynamic programme offering a variety of engaging discussions, debates and fellowship. these include bible studies, worship nights, social events, games nights and so much more. drop us an email at youth@comchurch.org.uk to find out more! you can also find us on instagram and youtube, handle @comchurch_youth.

  • We meet once a week, either on Friday or Sunday.

    Every other Friday 7:30pm to 9pm

    Every other Sunday 11am

    Our monthly youth programme is aimed at 11-16 years old (school years 7-11), to grow deeper in the word, in their faith and with God.

  • We offer young people a wide array of opportunities to get involved in Church life such as:

    - Serving in Coffee Central, our Church coffee shop. Once a month our young people take over Coffee Central and serve on the hospitality team with the help and support of our Youth Leaders.

    - Joining the Hosting Team.

    - Being part of the Creative and Media Teams.

    Our team works with amazing external organisations to deliver fun, engaging activities and events for our young people, such as the New Forest Christian Camp, Elim’s ‘Limitless’ events, and worship conferences, to name a few.

    New Wave COM Church Youth is connected to the Elim Pentecostal Youth Ministry “Limitless Elim“.

Our youth leaders aim to foster a culture that encourages young people to enquire more about Jesus through discussion, questions and prayer. The hope is for young people to find their identity in Christ and have a firm foundation as they embark on their promising future.

We believe that young people are the future and our mission is to equip them with the truth and understanding of God’s compassionate, gracious and loving kindness.
